Policies
Feedback and Complaints Policy and Procedure outlines our commitment to fostering a culture of transparency, safety, and continuous improvement. We actively encourage clients, families, staff, and stakeholders to share feedback or raise concerns without fear of reprisal. Our process is accessible, confidential, and responsive – ensuring all feedback is acknowledged, investigated, and resolved in a timely and respectful manner. This policy supports open disclosure, promotes advocacy, and aligns with the Aged Care Act 2024 and strengthened Aged Care Standards, helping us deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Incident Managment and SIRS Policy and Procedure – Belong at Home is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of older people receiving care. As part of our dedication to high standards, we actively manage all incidents and participate in the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS), which ensures that any serious incidents involving older Australians in our care are promptly identified, reported, and addressed.
Privacy Policy – Your privacy is important to us. It is Belong at Home’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website and other sites we own and operate.
Whistleblower Policy and Procedure – Belong at Home is committed to ethical conduct and compliance with legal standards. It provides a framework for reporting misconduct, protecting whistleblowers from retaliation, and ensuring confidentiality. The policy applies to employees, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, offering both internal and external reporting mechanisms. It emphasises fairness, transparency, and support for whistleblowers, while safeguarding their rights and identity. Developed in May 2025, the policy is reviewed periodically and accessible to all stakeholders.
